LETTERS FROM THE PAST

This blog is to honor those who have come before us. These are family letters that I have had for years and wanted to be able to share them with family. It's an interesting way of knowing how life was in the past.

Myron F Taylor with 3 of his buddies in 1952. Over the last 20 years I've been working on our family letters. Letters that have been passed down. Including letters from my parents to my great-grandmother. Every letter was saved by my great grandmother and grandmother. I hope someday to either print them or give them to a museum. I am copying the letters–not being able to photocopy all of them. Each letter is in script. I know today very few can read them. I hope you enjoy them.

STILL A COLD CASE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! -

Ever since my grandmother, Mabel C. Wineland, received this information while we lived in Japan, I have always been interested in the news. I want to know what happened to her. She is a distant relative but is still family. I have been trying to find letters or information that might help in this case. Not having much luck lately.

If by any change, you knew her, saw her that day, whatever. Please contact the police station and let them know. I called and said I had read the letters, but there wasn't anything saying who the mother thought did it. I will keep looking. They told me it's still a cold case. SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENDED.

There is no other relative that can help. We are one of the only connects to this family, as she was an only child and her parents are both gone. My grandmother was the closest to this family and she's gone as well.     PLEASE HELP SOLVE THIS CASE.
